Which Italian Police Certificate Do You Need?
Your employer or recruitment agency may request an Italian Police Clearance Certificate, commonly known as the Certificato del Casellario Giudiziale.
They may also ask for a Pending Charges Certificate, known as the Certificato dei Carichi Pendenti.
Before requesting a document, ask your employer or recruitment agency to confirm:
- The exact certificate required.
- Whether an Apostille or legalisation is needed.
- Whether a sworn translation is required and in which language.
- Whether they accept a PDF copy or require the original paper document.
